Lewis County Patriots
Project is an ongoing effort to supply grave markers for all
Revolutionary War Patriots buried within Lewis County.
Our first marker dedication was July 1, 2006, for Revolutionary War
Patriot Adam Flesher . |

Education support
programs include "Box Tops for Education," Campbell's Soup Labels,"
and DAR supported schools. |

Supporting our
veterans is a major project of this chapter. This year we have
been collecting cancelled stamps to be used in craft projects
and as an aid to rehabilitation. Books were also collected
from members to be donated to the Louis A Johnson Veterans
Administration Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Adult bibs
were made by our members and donated. |
